18 January – Bath – Seccl has today announced that David Ferguson will be joining the company as its new CEO (subject to FCA approval), on 4thApril 2022.
Ferguson was previously founder and CEO of Nucleus Financial Group, the financial adviser platform that he led to £20bn in assets under administration (AUA) prior to stepping down last September.
In addition to being a well-known and highly respected figure within the UK’s adviser community, David is also a passionate technologist and supporter of fintech – having served as Chairman of FinTech Scotland and Fintech Envoy for HM Treasury.
Current Co-CEOs, Sam Handfield-Jones and Dave Harvey, will continue in their roles until 4thApril, at which point Dave (Seccl’s founder) will focus on steering Seccl’s future technology and product direction, while Sam (who led the company’s acquisition by Octopus in 2019) will transition to an advisoryrole.
